Welcome to loofa docs

See how you can integrate with multiple payment providers in one go with loofa.

What is loofa?

Welcome to loofa's documentation section! First, if you stumbled upon this page without first knowing what loofa is, let's get that out of the way.

loofa exists to solve one problem, the complexity of managing global sales tax, VAT, and GST. And we do it with a twist. We are NOT a Merchant of Record, nor are we a sales tax tracking, prepping, and filing service. To find out how we work. Read out below!

What you can do with loofa

loofa allows you to integrate with a Merchant of Record like Paddle and a payment provider like Stripe in one go, so that you can trigger either one of the two depending on whether the customer who is buying your product or service is in a jurisdiction where you have to charge and file sales tax, VAT, or GST.

If you are a Paddle user, this means significant savings on Paddle fees and sales taxes where you don't actually have to charge anything.

If you are a Stripe user, this means you no longer have to worry about finding an accountant in each jurisdiction where you have to charge and file sales tax, VAT, or GST.

Out platform comes with an easy to integrate SDK, a hosted checkout optimized for conversion, AND a no-code workflow builder so YOU have full control over when Paddle or Stripe is triggered in your customer's checkout journey.
